A loser, a bottom-of-the-barrel salesman, can become a hero, all by telling a huge lie on camera. This is the story of Geun-seong, a man selling medical devices who can't hit his sales targets, and for whom life is a long series of humiliations. At a reunion, he tries to ingratiate himself with Jong-man, his former classmate, now a top-tier internet celebrity, but gets publicly rebuffed. A mix of jealousy and alcohol leads him to start a live stream, where he tearfully fabricates a story about Jong-man being a bully back in school. What he doesn't expect is that this lie becomes the starting point of his life's transformation. Viewers flock to the stream like a flood, and strangers start paying for his "courage." The money arrives so fast it makes him dizzy. But fame's price soon becomes clear. Jong-man's ex-girlfriend suddenly appears with a hidden agenda, and Jong-man's team isn't going to sit idly by.
