In this world, the world isn't running by itself, but it's held up by a team of IT staff, working hard in a hidden company. The newly appointed acting chairman, Mu Lin, only wants to get through his internship safely, but he makes a critical operation error and triggers the highest level of destruction. This program isn't about an alien invasion, but it's a wish enough to wipe out all of humanity. In order to keep his job and everyone else's lives, Mu Lin has to take his strange subordinates to the secret "Star River Office," to start a cross-dimensional public relations journey. They travel along the edges of reality and fantasy, in search of those who have lost all hope in their lives, to put out the fire of destruction that is about to come, with the smallest amount of warmth before the countdown ends.

What's charming about this is the "serious nonsense" concept. It takes grand creation myths and reconstructs them into a workplace tale. I'm so used to saviors suffering, but seeing Mu Lin, who is complaining about his boss but desperately fixing the holes in the sky. It's relatable! The film moves like a jazzy dance, and each story feels like an emotional box, full of modern loneliness, regrets, and hope. The combo of Qiu Henan and Hu Haofan are fantastic, the one plays the handsome clumsy one, while the other is a helpful funny friend. The heavy topic of the "end of the world" feels like a fun road trip. It's a fantasy, but it reminds us that every wish matters. If you're tired, this film is like a fizzy hot milk tea, it makes you smile, and it also hits you in the heart. I see this film as a metaphor, we are all small, but our wishes matter. The aesthetics could be Cyberpunk-lite or modern fantasy, reflecting the title. The focus is on the emotional hook; it's a healing story disguised as a sci-fi rescue. I'm feeling good about this one.
