A narrow, suffocating space station cabin. Two former lovers, their relationship long dead, are now forced to face each other in zero gravity. This is probably the most awkward, yet romantic, reunion imaginable. This is the first love test presented in *Global Hot Love*. The three daughters of the Huang family are like three flowers with distinct personalities, and the directors throw them into three completely different extreme environments. The eldest sister, Rose, is a rigorous astronaut. She originally thought that going to space was for scientific research, but she discovers that her partner is her ex-boyfriend Mike, whom she hates. Thousands of meters above the ground, even quarreling requires floating. Those old grudges that have been deliberately forgotten are infinitely magnified in the confined space. The second daughter, Lily, is far away in Sydney. She is a patient with severe obsessive-compulsive disorder, and her life is as precise as a ruler. But fate arranges for her the most unlikely man--a garbage man who is covered in dirt but smiles like the sun. This ultimate duel between Virgo and the chaos faction fills the streets of Sydney with gunpowder and inexplicable sweetness. As for the youngest daughter, Peony, she is a popular actress living under the spotlight, but she is mocked across the internet for her terrible acting skills. In order to find inspiration for acting, she works incognito in a coffee shop and runs into a down-and-out writer who is not getting the recognition he deserves. One is a peacock accustomed to the false prosperity, the other is a hedgehog who adheres to the reality. When the two hearts get close in the plain coffee aroma, the lie of identity becomes a time bomb that is about to explode at any time.

This movie is like a box of colorful macaroons; it is pleasing to the eye at first glance. Director Wing Shya is a visual master himself, and he plays the high-saturation, dreamlike cinematography to the extreme. Whether it's the cool sci-fi feel in the space capsule or the bright exotic customs on the streets of Sydney, every frame is so beautiful that it can be cut out and used as a poster. What is most surprising is the chemistry between the actors. Rene Liu and Aaron Kwok's scenes have a unique pulling feeling between mature men and women. Their subtle expressions of wanting to get closer but fearing getting hurt are accurately grasped. Eason Chan and Gwei Lun-mei are the fun duo of the whole film. One is letting oneself go, the other is extremely tense. This sense of contrast contributes the most laughs. It doesn't try to discuss any profound human philosophy with you. It just wants to give you a sugar-coated pill in that stressful era. It tells us that whether you are tens of thousands of feet in the air or on an ordinary street corner, love will always knock on your door in the most unexpected way. If you feel that life has been a bit gloomy recently and want to regain a little bit of expectation for romance, then this visually imaginative feast is definitely worth savoring on the sofa.
