The film follows Zhao Xinxin, a fifth-grader who is obsessed with martial arts and not so keen on hygiene. He does a good deed on the bus, which sets off a very strange journey. He meets this "Strange Old Man" who seems to have an infinite bag of magic tricks. His house is like a portal. When Zhao Xinxin has bad stomach pains, the old man comes up with a ridiculously strange solution that Zhao Xinxin cannot refuse! What I want to get across is that it's more than just a series of odd events. The Old Man's home seems to defy the laws of physics. It makes you wonder if there’s a secret side to the world that we can’t see. What happens to Zhao Xinxin after he does this terrifying thing? Are those birds really just a bizarre treatment?

The "Strange Old Man" is a mix of all-knowing guardian and rule-breaking troublemaker. The genius of the film is that it doesn’t preach, but challenges societal norms through its bizarre humor.
